Project

To conduct an informal research survey of current clients, to craft new creative strategies based on research findings, and implement a public relations campaign of the brand position for SCHMIDT Technologies in the North America market

Solutions

TMI began the project by conducting an informal survey of 25 of SCHMIDT’s customers. The comments showed that many customers did not realize the many applications that SCHMIDT presses were used. This lead to a new tag line “Made possible by a SCHMIDT Press”. The creative ties in everything from a bicycle peddle to a heart stint. The create theme was carried into webinars, tradeshows, trade show ads. Finally TMI worked with SCHMIDT on an crafting and distributing an international press release to beginning communicating the new position.

Results

The insights gained from the informal survey lead to insights for creating a new approach for the SCHMIDT brand. The new creative highlights all of the many industries and products that relay on a SCHMIDT press. The creative also separates SCHMIDT from its competitors who marketing/advertising focuses on technical language. The creative is currently being in national trade magazines (Assembly, Digital Magazine) webinars and sales presentations. TMI also worked on an international press release for a new SCHMIDT product that reached an audience of over 283 million.
